Philosophy
The mission of the Footprints Preschool is to provide a wide variety of learning experiences in a Christian environment that will support the growth of the whole child through the development of his/her physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
We strive to provide a Christian preschool program that teaches Biblical truths while developing the whole child through multi-sensory play and structured learning time.
We believe that God has created each child with his/her own unique strengths, talents, and gifts. Footprints Preschool seeks to provide developmentally appropriate activities and encourage open communication and support among parents, teacher, and child to lay the foundation for continued growth and learning beyond the walls of the preschool.
Developing the Whole Child
The teachers of Footprints Preschool will provide opportunities for children to engage in both large and small groups settings, as well as time for free play and exploration in learning centers. Attention to the development of both fine and gross motor skills will be done through physical activity, as well as writing and the arts. Opportunities to engage in music, science, math, social studies, and art will be integrated into daily lessons and learning centers.
